The second lesson came faster than expected… I have barely had time to go through the first lesson… Hopefully things with work will slow down one of these days… its been nuts! Things are really going faster than expected… thought I had a lot more time on hand before I had to leave Atlanta, but its only about 40 days away now… Not sure if I’m excited, scared or both 
Had mixed answers about whether or not I needed to learn the local language spoken in Chennai which is Tamil. Thought I would get my feet wet by searching online for Tamil lessons, and all I found was written Tamil lessons 
Do not really want to read or write the language, just want to speak it. So, a friend of a friend is tutoring me long distance. Got my first lesson today via email with a bunch of words and sentences which I will hopefully be able to learn soon. Practice will help greatly! Some people have told me English is spoken almost everywhere in Chennai, but I think to truly assimilate I need to learn, so when time permits I’m taking Tamil 101.
Got a one way ticket to Chennai today. Used United miles to get onto Lufthansa Airlines. I make only one stop in Frankfurt and its only a 2 hour stop over. Things are moving in the right direction
Got my 2007 Mazda 3i sold today. Made $300 profit after using it for 7 months. Love it! Monday – get a rental car from Enterprise… maybe a new sporty Ford Focus? Got 1 month and 2 weeks to go until I leave for Chennai!
